Gypsies of Sleepy Hollow is a small (emphasis on small...) farm located in the heart of horse country in central Virginia.

Gypsy Horses!
Often described as the "Golden Retriever" of horses, the Gypsy Vanner (or Romany) Horse has got to be one of God's most captivating creatures. Not only are they breathtakingly beautiful, they are the sweetest horses to ever grace the fields of this earth. We first read about them on the front page of our local, newspaper. That article sent us on a fascinating journey (mostly 'cyber') to learn more about these amazing animals. After months of searching, we found Emma, the Gypsy Horse of our dreams! Emma arrived at Sleepy Hollow on November 8th, 2003 - she immediately stole our hearts! Our heartfelt Thanks to Blarney Stone Acres for bringing Emma into our lives!

Emma will be the foundation of our Gypsy breeding program. She is maturing into a lovely young mare, exceeding our hopes and expectations. Recent photos may be viewed in Emma's gallery. Check back often for more photos and updates as Emma grows.
